Gravely PC founder Marc Gravely recently wrote an article for Best Lawyers’ 2024 Best Law Firms – Texas Edition.

Marc says, “Advertising jingles aside, insurance companies are in business to turn a profit, and to do so, many have developed strategies to reduce claim payments to avoid a drag on their bottom lines.”

He also discusses ways in which insurance companies avoid liability by keeping cases outside the courtroom, and how these tactics can cause more damage to a company than the circumstances that caused it to file an insurance claim in the first place.
