Dan Barrett brings more than forty years of civil litigation expertise to bear on problems for property owners in construction defect and first-party insurance cases. He is a past President of the Fort Worth Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates and a former member of ABOTA’s National Board. Accomplished on both sides of the docket, Mr. Barrett was a state Director of both the Texas Association of Defense Counsel and the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, as well as President of the Tarrant County plaintiffs’ and defense bars. He held specialty certificates from the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and the National Board of Trial Advocacy. 

Mr. Barrett has represented clients in Texas courts ranging from individuals to multi-national corporations to municipalities and other governmental entities. His business litigation experience encompasses construction defect cases as well as insurance coverage and bad faith disputes. He is relentless in seeking justice and compensation for public and private owners of all stripes in cases involving engineers, architects, planners, general contractors, and specialty subs.
