Steven C. Hill

With more than two decades of experience, Steven Hill focuses his practice on representing policyholders, building owners and public entities, such as hospitals and school districts, in construction defect litigation and first-party insurance disputes. He also has extensive experience as a litigator, mediator, an ediscovery expert and consultant.

Steven has passion for helping clients and an expert ability to solve complex cases garnered from his vast experience. His expertise includes managing large litigation projects with expert efficiency and client communication, while exhibiting the utmost professionalism and tireless advocacy. Before joining Gravely, he managed forensic technology services for a large accounting and professional services firm in Dallas, where he worked with law firms and businesses to build, expand and improve their e-discovery services. His work included coordinating and managing data collection, analysis, review and production for pre-litigation, litigation and internal investigations. Steven also owned and operated his own e-discovery company and is a mediator.

Before moving into forensic technology and e-discovery, Steven began his legal career at an insurance defense firm. He also was assistant general counsel for Dallas Area Rapid Transit, where he focused on general tort litigation, including personal injury, premises liability, property damage, subrogation, contract and appellate work. Steven has also mediated hundreds of cases resolving cases in all areas of the law.

Steven studied political science at Texas A&M University before earning his law degree from South Texas College of Law.
