Dave Gravely

Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, Dave attended and graduated from Keystone School. As a student, he enjoyed participating in team sports like soccer, basketball, baseball, and track. A seven-time sports captain, Dave sincerely appreciates the beauty of organized, collective effort. During these years, he also dedicated his time to extracurriculars, serving as president of the Students for Environmental Action and Service and Vice President of Keystone’s Student Council.
Dave went on to graduate from the University of Texas at Austin in the spring of 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, a minor from the Texas McCombs School of Business, and two years of educational experience in the Cockrell School of Mechanical Engineering.
Shortly after completing his undergraduate studies, Dave went on to attend St. Mary’s University School of Law where he graduated in the spring of 2023 at the top 10% of his class. During law school, Dave served as both a staff writer and senior associate editor of the Law Journal. He also received an award for writing the Best Appellate Brief in his first-year section. He later went on to have his Comment, entitled Discovering the Governing Forces of eSports, an Intellectual Property Gold Mine, published in Volume 54 of the St. Mary’s University Law Journal. Dave also enjoyed being part of the Consumer Protection Clinic at the St. Mary’s University Center for Legal and Social Justice, where he represented clients facing eviction proceedings and helped other clients overcome real property title issues.
Throughout the years, Dave has served as an employee or intern of several notable offices, including CPS Energy and the U.S. House of Representatives. He also has experience serving several legal positions with offices such as the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas (Midland-Odessa), Gunn, Lee & Cave (intellectual property practice in San Antonio), Wigington, Rumley, Dunn & Blair (personal injury practice in San Antonio).
For the first two years following law school, Dave worked with a plaintiff’s personal injury law firm, representing clients faced with trucking collisions, motor vehicle collisions, premises liability situations, dog attacks, and ski collisions. Handling several trials and resolving hundreds of personal injury matters, Dave truly enjoyed assisting his clients through perhaps some of the most difficult times in their lives.
At Gravely PC, Dave handles matters involving construction defect litigation and insurance recovery. Bringing his competitive spirit, attention to detail, and dedication to reaching excellent results, Dave aims to provide top-tier representation and effort for the clients of Gravely PC.
